Laservision World, DBA AVLGEAR, is a growing e-commerce brand specializing in professional-grade gear for the Audio, Video, and Lighting industries. We sell across Amazon, other direct-to-consumer platforms, and our own website. As we continue to scale, we are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and help build strong financial controls to support growth.
Position Summary
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the company’s accounting functions and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This role requires hands-on experience with e-commerce accounting, inventory reconciliation, and multi-channel sales platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), general ledger, and bank reconciliations
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare and review financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
- Reconcile sales across multiple channels (Amazon, Shopify, Ebay, etc.)
- Manage inventory accounting, COGS, landed costs, and inventory reconciliation
- Administer payroll processing, including employee compensation, deductions, and compliance
- Ensure payroll tax filings, benefits deductions, and related reporting are accurate and timely
- Handle sales tax filings and compliance across multiple states
- Coordinate with external CPA firms for tax filings, audits, and financial reviews
- Maintain and improve internal accounting controls and accounting processes
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for management
- Work closely with operations and management to support business growth
Qualifications
- Bi-Lingual (English / Korean)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in e-commerce
- Strong understanding of inventory accounting and cost accounting
- Experience with Amazon Seller Central financial reports
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sellercloud
- Familiarity with sales tax compliance and multi-state reporting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA or CMA designation
- Experience with multi-state payroll and benefits administration
- Experience with FBA, 3PLs, or high-SKU e-commerce operations
- Familiarity with HR and payroll platforms (Gusto, ADP, Paychex, Rippling, etc.)
