Title : Loan Processor
<Job Description> :
NMSI, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Loan Processor to manage mortgage loan files from submission through funding. This role also supports Account Executives (AEs) and brokers throughout the loan process to ensure a smooth and efficient transaction. The ideal candidate is proactive, responsive, and skilled in managing files with accuracy, speed, and excellent communication.
<Job Responsibilities> :
- Review loan application packages for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with guidelines.
- Collect and verify required documentation including income, assets, credit, title, and insurance.
- Assist Loan Officers with preparing pre-approval files and issuing Loan Estimates (LEs).
- Order and follow up on third-party items such as appraisals, VOEs, and insurance.
- Communicate with brokers, escrow and internal teams to obtain and submit outstanding conditions.
- Monitor pipeline and ensure timely movement from submission to funding.
- Support Account Executives (AEs) by assisting brokers with loan-level questions, system navigation, and documentation requirements.
- Act as a liaison between brokers and internal departments to facilitate smooth loan transitions.
- Follow up with brokers to ensure timely responses and resolve processing delays.
-Maintain organized and complete loan files in accordance with company policy and investor requirements.
<Required Skills/Abilities.> :
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Powerpoint, etc
- Strong customer service skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to act with professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
<Preferred Qualifications>:
- Prior experience in mortgage loan processing or broker support roles.
- Familiarity with wholesale lending operations.
- Bilingual skills are a plus (Korean, English).
Verifiable experience and references required.
<Wage range and Benefits> :
- Job Type: Full-time
- Schedule: Monday through Friday (9 AM - 6 PM)
- Salary: $50,000 - $55,000
