DESIGN ASSISTANT
Duties:
• Keep track and maintain control of daily requests and sample developments
• Track the timelines of vendors by following up and logging the information into the WIP on excel
• Flat sketch new designs (illustrator) as instructed by the design team
• Support fittings by taking photos and preparing garments
• Request new fabric or trim sourcing request to overseas vendors & follow up statues
• Data input
Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:
• Strong communication skills
• Intermediate Computer Drawing skills for technical and construction detail sketches & related art using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
• Knowledge of garment construction is a plus
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S
Education and Experience:
• 0-1 + years of related garment industry experience
Pay Rate - $22 - $28 / hour ( depending on experience )
