We are seeking a Senior Logistics Operations Specialist to oversee and manage domestic and international shipments. This role plays a critical part in coordinating freight forwarding, ensuring regulatory compliance, and optimizing logistics operations. If you have a strong background in supply chain management, freight coordination, and international trade compliance, this is an excellent opportunity to advance your career.
Key Responsibilities:
Shipment Coordination: Plan and manage domestic and international shipments via air, sea, and land, ensuring on-time delivery.
Documentation Management: Prepare and process essential shipping documents, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations.
Carrier Negotiation: Secure cost-effective freight rates by negotiating with carriers and logistics providers.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to international trade laws, customs procedures, and safety regulations.
Client Communication: Act as the primary contact for customers, providing shipment updates, addressing inquiries, and resolving any logistics-related issues.
Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve shipment delays, damaged goods, and customs clearance issues.
Tracking & Reporting: Monitor shipment progress, generate logistics reports, and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
Inventory Coordination: Work with warehouses and logistics partners to manage inventory levels and optimize storage solutions.
Cost Optimization: Monitor transportation costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure accurate billing.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain management.
Bilingual proficiency in Korean is preferred but not required.
Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to secure competitive shipping rates.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in logistics and supply chain management software.
In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: $70,000–$90,000 (Based on experience and qualifications).
