Position: Retail Sales Associate (Full-Time, Part-Time)
Location: Downtown LA (ROW DTLA) / Santa Monica
About Us:
ARJ Los Angeles (www.arj.la) is a lifestyle store offering a carefully curated collection of artisanal tableware and contemporary home décor from Japan, Korea, and Europe. We are looking for an enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate with a passion for home decor and tableware, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced retail environment.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of retail sales experience preferred
- Passion for tableware, home goods, and design
- Proficient in use of technology (iPad, Mac, etc.)
- Knowledge of inventory management and shipping/receiving; experience with e-commerce (Shopify) is a plus
- Fluency in additional languages (Korean, Japanese) is a bonus
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and stockroom
- Stock and display merchandise
- Engage with customers, promote products, and drive sales
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems
- Provide excellent customer service via phone and email
- Assist with online order fulfillment when necessary
Working Hours:
- Downtown LA: Tuesday – Sunday, 11 AM – 5 PM
- Santa Monica: Monday – Sunday, 10:30 AM – 7:30 PM
(We are looking for candidates who can commit to at least 3-4 days per week, but we are open to discussing flexible hours.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
