Ocean Blue Express, Inc. would like to hire an enthusiastic individual with passion in our fast-expanding company located in the Los Angeles area. We are looking for an entry-level or a person with dispatcher experience who is looking for long-term work in a friendly and courteous work environment.
You will be:
• Using Global Positioning Systems to monitor the location of the drivers
• Communicating with brokers, carriers, and customers
• Directing and organizing logistics activities that may include obtaining shipping rates or negotiating with service providers
• Ensuring carrier compliance with company policies and procedures
• Ensuring prompt receipt and delivery of equipment to and from customers
• Coordinating deliveries with other work units or departments
• Dealing with conflict and being able to solve it quickly
We would prefer someone with experience in forwarding but will also consider entry-level candidates who would like to pursue a professional career in the logistics industry.
The salary starts from $50,000 per year for entry-level and goes up to $80,000 for experienced personnel.
