We are looking for a motivated future CPA to join our office and build a successful career in public accounting. The ideal candidate is eager to learn the fundamentals of public accounting and compassionate to the needs of the clients. In this role, you will receive hands-on training and exposure to various aspects of tax and accounting services. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level professional to gain valuable experience and advance in the field of public accounting.

Key responsibilities:

- Assist in the preparation of federal and state income tax returns
- Perform bookkeeping duties for various types of small to mid-sized businesses
- Process payroll and related compliance filings
- Facilitate communication with clients
- Conduct basic tax regulations and accounting research to be presented to the senior staff
- Maintain and organize client files and documents
- Provide general administrative support to the office

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Korean
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or comparable software
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Capable of working to meet the stringent deadlines for tax and compliance filings
- A positive attitude and motivation to learn and grow professionally

Preference:

- Completion of intermediary accounting and taxation courses
- CPA and EA candidates
- Familiarity with accounting and tax software

What we offer:

- Pay: $18.00 - 22.00/hr based on candidate's experience, qualifications, and skills
- Comprehensive training: direct, hands-on training and mentorship from an experienced CPA
- Flexible work schedule (minimum of 5 hours per day, Monday to Friday)
- CPA/EA exam support available for eligible employees
