K-day PACE는 한인타운을 중심으로 한인 어르신들에게 종합적인 의료 및 생활 지원 서비스를 제공하는 PACE 프로그램입니다. 교통편, 식사, 다양한 프로그램과 활동, 진료, 치과 진료, 물리치료 등 어르신들에게 필요한 서비스를 한 곳에서 통합적으로 제공하고 있습니다.

자격 요건
면허 / 교육 / 자격증
유효한 캘리포니아주 Class B 상업용 운전면허증(CDL) 소지자
(다인승 승객 운송을 위한 Passenger(P) Endorsement 필수)
최근 3년간 안전하고 양호한 운전 기록 필수
LA DOT 시 운행 허가(City Permit) 취득이 가능한 자
유효한 CPR, AED 및 응급처치(First Aid) 자격증 필수
경력
거동이 불편하거나 고령인 어르신의 운송 업무 경력 1년 이상 또는 PACE 프로그램에 특화된 운전 교육 이수
주요 업무 및 책임
참가자 운송 및 차량 관리
참가자 운송 중 안전과 편의를 책임지고, 참가자가 만족할 수 있도록 친절하고 세심한 서비스 제공
배정된 운행 일정을 준수하고, 예상치 못한 일정 변경 시 참가자의 필요와 PACE 센터의 운영 상황을 고려하여 일정을 조정한 후 Transportation Coordinator 또는 담당자에게 변경 사항 보고
차량 및 관련 장비를 안전하게 운행·사용하고 차량 관련 면허 및 규정 준수
운행 전·후 차량 점검, 주유 내역 등 일일 필수 기록을 정확하게 작성 및 관리
차량 또는 업무용 휴대전화의 작동 문제, 고장 또는 사고 발생 시 Transportation Coordinator에게 즉시 보고
IDT(다학제 팀)의 요청 및 정해진 운송 절차에 따라 참가자의 병원 및 전문의 진료, 외부 활동 등을 위한 이동 지원
식사, 내구성 의료장비(DME), 의약품, 홈케어 용품 및 기타 필요한 물품 운송
참가자가 차량에 승·하차할 때 필요한 신체적 도움을 제공하고, 필요 시 출발지 내부에서 목적지 내부까지 안전하게 이동할 수 있도록 Door-through-Door 서비스 제공
매일 운행 종료 후 차량을 점검하고 차량 내부와 외부를 깨끗하고 정돈된 상태로 유지
차량 내 장비가 제조사의 권장 기준에 따라 적절하게 관리되고 정상적으로 작동하는지 확인하며 필요 시 소모품 보충 및 교체
요청 시 IDT(다학제 팀)의 일원으로 관련 업무에 참여
Transportation Coordinator 또는 담당자와 매일 소통하여 참가자의 상태 변화, 케어 플랜 변경 사항 및 IDT 요청 사항 확인
기관의 정책과 절차 및 OSHA 안전 지침 준수
참가자, 고객 및 가족에 관한 정보와 회사의 업무 절차 및 관련 정보를 철저히 기밀로 유지
혈액, 소변, 구토물 등 감염 가능성이 있는 체액을 취급할 경우 적절한 생물학적 위험(Biohazard) 예방 조치를 취하고 표준주의지침(Standard Precautions)을 준수
품질 개선 활동에 참여하고 지원
지속적인 교육 과정과 필수 직원 회의 및 교육에 참여
업무에 필요한 자격증 및 면허를 유효한 상태로 유지
기타 필요하거나 요청되는 업무 수행
급여 및 복리후생

Qualifications and Requirements:
Education/Training/Certifications:
A current State of California Class B Commercial Driver’s License (with P endorsement for multiple passengers)
Safe and clean driving records within the past 3-years are required
Ability to obtain a LA DOT city permit
Current CPR, AED, and First Aid Certification required
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year transporting the frail and elderly or driver training specific to PACE.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for PACE passengers during transport, providing care in a manner which ensures participant satisfaction.
Follows assigned schedule, makes adjustments to meet unanticipated changes while considering the needs of the participant and requirements of the PACE Center. Communicates these changes to the Transportation Coordinator or designee.
Operates equipment safely and in compliance with vehicle licensing regulations.
Maintains and completes daily required records, such as Pre and Post Trip Inspections, gasoline purchases, etc.
Immediately reports to the Transportation Coordinator any vehicle or cell phone operating problems, malfunction, or incidents.
Transports participants to and from medical/specialist appointments and activity outings as requested by the interdisciplinary team per established transportation request process.
Transports meals, durable medical equipment, pharmacy, home care supplies, or other items deemed necessary.
Provides physical assistance to each participant when needed as s/he boards and disembarks from the program’s vehicles. Provides door-through-door assistance.
Inspects the vehicle at the end of each day and maintains the vehicle in a neat and clean condition.
Ensures vehicle equipment is maintained and operating within manufacturer’s recommendations, replacing supplies as needed.
Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary team when requested.
Communicates with Transportation Coordinator or designee daily to be updated on participant conditions/changes, plan of care changes, or interdisciplinary team requests.
Follows policies and procedures and OSHA safety guidelines.
Maintains the confidentiality of all company procedures, results, and information about participants, clients, or families.
Handles potentially infectious fluids (e.g., blood, urine, emesis) with appropriate biohazard precautions and practices Standard Precautions.
Participates in and supports Quality Improvement initiatives.
Participates in continuing education classes and any required staff and training meetings.
Maintains any required certifications or licenses.
Performs other duties as required or requested.
Salary & Benefits:
