Must have basic knowledge of denim patterns and denim construction.
Ability to measure denim garments accurately to identify any fit issues and execute fit comments efficiently to meet deadlines of PO’s.
Oversee all aspects of fit and fabric- making comment for all production samples- components, including fit, fabric, construction, stitch, and trim. Logging in all information related to the PO/ Orders- maintain the history of comments for all orders.
Scheduling weekly fitting. Participate in fit sessions, providing recommendations, note call-outs, efficiently address all issues and logging critiques as quickly and accurately. Release fit comments within 24-48 hr period.
Proficient knowledge of Excel to create production fit comments
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, production, and quality control, to address technical challenges and facilitate the smooth transition from design to production.
Communicate technical requirements, resolve issues, and ensure the timely and accurate production of denim products.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
· 3-5 years of experience in Fit Tech, in denim manufacturing
· Efficient in: MS office & Excel
· Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and sewing techniques, particularly in the denim category.
· Detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality and precision.
· Must be able to build relationships with effective communication throughout the company
· Must be eligible to work in U.S
