We are a growing general contractor focused entirely on public works projects. We're seeking an entry-level Construction Project Engineer & Superintendent with a strong drive for career growth. This role provides an excellent opportunity for rapid advancement and cross-training in all phases of construction, with the potential to transition into a Project Manager position in the future.
Job Overview:
The Construction Project Engineer & Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing various construction sites, ensuring projects stay on track, and managing subcontractors. This role includes performing quality control, monitoring safety protocols, and supporting Project Managers in various administrative and operational tasks.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of construction sites to ensure timely and accurate progress.
Manage subcontractors to maintain the approved construction schedule.
Conduct quality control checks on work performed to ensure it meets standards.
Perform safety monitoring to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
Assist Project Managers with various tasks and support project coordination.
Review construction schedules, drawings, specifications, and contract documents for compliance.
Assist Estimator with preparing bids and estimates for upcoming projects.
Interface with clients and attend weekly progress meetings to provide updates and resolve issues.
Skills & Qualifications:
Preferred Fluent in English & Korean (written and spoken).
Strong work ethic, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Adobe PDF software.
Previous construction experience is preferred but not required. (we are willing to train the right candidate.)
Ability to adapt quickly and take on new responsibilities.
