As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, controlling and managing warehouse operations on manufacturing dietary supplements facility and ensuring compliance with company, federal and state regulations regarding controlled unused materials and finished products. You will be also responsible for preparing shipments and shipping the finished products to the clients accurately and verifying cleaned condition of the warehouse, pallet rack, pallet jack and electric forklift.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Comply with current good manufacturing practices (cGMPs), follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), and must be able to interpret, follow and complete scheduled job on-time
• Plan, organize and supervise daily warehouse tasks to ensure timely, accurate and efficient operations
• Verify warehouse employee’s work on receiving, stocking, preparation of batch production materials, returned shipments, inventory and shipping operations
• Powerful use of web-based inventory control system from adding, making picklist, issuing to reconciliation of stock and report any variations or concerns to senior management
• Assure compliance with quality policies and procedure related to receiving, stocking and storage areas such as quarantine area, quality hold area, allergen area, rejected area and approved storage area
• Maintain required records in an easily retrievable method in accordance with SOPs and cGMP standards
• Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and hand-on training warehouse employees on includes planning, assigning, and directing work
• Manage warehouse employees and warehouse supplies to operate within the departmental budget
• Must be willing to participate in physical inventory as scheduled
• Ensure cleanliness of the facility by verifying cleaned condition of storage areas, hand tools/equipment, floor and fixtures in a cGMP environment
• Operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment in a safe manner
• Work with QA/QC Department to perform quality checks and food safety assurance on a weekly basis
• Develop strong lines of communication with other co-workers to ensure plant-efficiency
• Must report any concerns or incidents to management
• Must wear appropriate gear: hairnets, safety vest, etc.
• Yearly Refresher Training on following topics:
1. Food Safety (HACCP/HARPC overview)
2. Food Defense
3. Personal Hygiene and GMP’s
4. Sanitary and Safe Food Handling Techniques
5. Pest Control Procedures
6. Allergens
7. Sanitation Responsibilities
8. Receiving/Storage and Processing/Shipping Procedures
9. Pallet Program
10. Updates or Revisions made to SOPs since last training
• Must be able to do overtime when requested from time to time
• Performs other duties as assigned that are necessary, required or directed by managers
Physical Requirements:

Blister Machine Operator
Basic Job Description:
As a Blister and Carton Machine Operator, you will be responsible for packaging dietary supplements in PVC or Aluminum blister package. You will be part of a team that is responsible for setting up and operating the following packaging equipment: Blister Machine and Carton Machine. In addition, you will be responsible for cleaning the equipment, utensils and the room in which you operate.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Comply with current good manufacturing practices (cGMPs), follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), and must be able to interpret, follow and complete scheduled production on-time
• Must have ability to read, follow detailed Batch Packaging Record for Blister/Carton instructions and fill out documents that include the following tasks:
Set up and operate equipment; if needed, adjust settings or alignments during operation
Disassemble and reassemble equipment i.e. change molds or parts to different size
Verify in-process product batch no., quantity and packaging material lot no., quantity that were pulled by Warehouse
Ability to perform operations necessary to package various consumable products
Perform in-process monitoring until batch is complete i.e. checking bottom foils, lidding film, carton, Lot No and Expiration Date
Ability to lift master cases of finished products or packaging materials up to 40 lbs on, off and between pallets
• Can be exposed to allergens (such as egg powders), odors, dust or particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud
• Ensure proper operation of equipment and must report any concerns to management
• Clean and sanitize equipment/part prior to and/or after use; disassembling and reassembling as needed
• Sweep/wash floors and work areas to maintain equipment and work area in sanitary condition
• Return unused in-process products or packaging materials to designated areas
• Work with QA Personnel to perform quality checks on a daily basis
• Develop strong lines of communication with other co-workers to ensure plant-efficiency
• Must wear appropriate gear: hairnets, gloves, hearing protection, dust masks, etc.
• Yearly Refresher Training on following topics:

Packaging Supervisor
Basic Job Description:
As a Packaging Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and hand-on training of packaging department and managing packaging schedule. You will also be responsible for issuing Batch Packaging Records, monitoring process during operations and communicating with quality department to fix issues.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Comply with current good manufacturing practices (cGMPs), follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), and must be able to interpret, follow and review of completed packaging documentation per compliance standards and established timelines
• Supervise the on-the-floor operations of our dietary supplement packaging facility in a cGMP environment
• Provide necessary training and ongoing coaching, discipline and recognition of packaging department, including performing annual performance evaluations
• Maintain complete and accurate training records to ensure that all personnel are competent to perform their assigned duties
• Issue BPRs per package types (i.e. bottle, blister/carton) and forward to warehouse to pick
• Prepare and manage schedule of packaging production and resources
• Ensure performance of all batch packaging procedures from checking right product to be used to proper equipment operation i.e. in-process checks on BPR and yield report
• Investigate and resolve non-conformance or problems identifying root cause, and proposing process improvements through clear communication to quality department and senior management
• Take corrective action to bring required changes using change control procedures
• Ensure procedures of crisis management are followed by team members on annual internal audit
• Communicate regularly with the Operations Manager to ensure compliance with training requirements and that adequate support is provided to employees in the work area
• Develop strong lines of communication with other co-workers to ensure plant-efficiency
