주요 업무
• 생전신탁(Living Trust) 및 취소불능신탁(Irrevocable Trust) 문서 작성 및 구조 설계 (메디케이드 자산보호신탁, 증여신탁, 자선잔여신탁(CRT), IDGT 등)
• 유언장(Will) 작성 및 고객 맞춤형 종합 상속설계 수립
• C-Corporation, LLC, 비영리재단(Private Foundation) 등 법인 설립 업무 및 관련 내부 거버넌스 문서 작성 (운영계약서, 정관, 이사회 결의서 등)
• 다양한 상업 계약의 검토 및 협상 지원
• 개인 및 법인 고객을 위한 전략적 세무 계획 수립
• 한미 국제조세 이슈 자문 (§877A 출국세, FIRPTA, CFC/PFIC 규정, 조세조약 적용 등)
자격 요건
• 패럴리걸 경력 3년 이상 (상속·신탁, 법인설립, 세무 분야 경력 우대) 또는 법학 관련 학위 소지자
• 우수한 문서 작성 및 리서치 역량
• 복잡한 업무를 독립적으로 수행할 수 있는 역량과 철저한 비밀유지 능력
• 한국어 및 영어 커뮤니케이션 가능자 (필수)

Led by Managing Partner John Chung—a U.S. Attorney, CPA, and licensed RIA—JC One operates as a One-Stop Tax and Financial Planning Firm offering comprehensive management of clients' assets and businesses, while continuing to expand its professional network connecting the U.S. and Korea.
In line with the firm's continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Senior Paralegal. This role supports a broad range of legal services spanning estate and trust planning, entity formation, commercial contracts, tax strategy, and U.S.–Korea cross-border tax matters.
Key Responsibilities
• Draft and structure Living Trusts and Irrevocable Trusts (including Medicaid Asset Protection Trusts, Gift Trusts, Charitable Remainder Trusts (CRTs), and Intentionally Defective Grantor Trusts (IDGTs))
• Draft Wills and develop comprehensive, client-tailored estate plans
• Handle entity formation for C-Corporations, LLCs, and Private Foundations, including related governance documents (operating agreements, bylaws, board resolutions, etc.)
• Review and support negotiation of various commercial contracts
• Develop strategic tax planning for individual and corporate clients
• Advise on U.S.–Korea cross-border tax issues (IRC §877A expatriation tax, FIRPTA, CFC/PFIC rules, treaty application, etc.)
Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of paralegal experience (experience in estate/trust planning, entity formation, or tax preferred), or a law-related degree
• Strong drafting and legal research skills
• Ability to independently manage complex matters with strict confidentiality
• Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English (required)
