We are seeking a Fashion Design / Pre-Production Associate to support the execution of our product lifecycle from development through pre-production. This role works closely with merchandising operations, product development, pre-production coordination, and sourcing to ensure product accuracy. The ideal candidate is detail-driven, highly organized, and excited to grow within the apparel industry.
Experience or interest in denim is a plus, but not required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Conduct market, fabric, or product research to support merchandising and development decisions
· Support pre-production and production processes, including sample tracking, approvals, and production readiness
· Track development and production calendars to support on-time execution
· Assist with merchandising operations such as line sheets, color/size assortments, and product data management
· Participate in technical fittings
· Coordinate cross-functionally with design, production, and vendors to ensure timelines and deliverables are met
· Maintain organized records of samples, fabrics, and vendor communications
· Support day-to-day operational needs within merchandising and production teams
QUALIFICATION
· Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Apparel Production, Fashion Design, or a related field OR
· 2+ years of experience in merchandising, pre-production, or production support (internship experience considered)
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Proficiency in Excel
· Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
· Understanding of garment construction and production workflows
· Interest or experience with denim (fabrication, washes, fits, or production) is preferred but not required
· A very high capacity for learning, a commitment to excellence, and high energy of proactiveness and focus.
