Position: Full-time, In-person
Job Description: The Accounting Department at NMSI plays a crucial role in maintaining the company's financial integrity. This team ensures that all financial procedures are followed diligently, and ensures compliance by preparing accurate financial reports and statements. A Staff Accountant typically works under the guidance of the Senior Accountant or the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Job Responsibilities:
-Bookkeeping and Accounting Data Entry.
-Reconcile bank statements.
-Maintain and update accounting records and files.
-Report to the Accounting Manager and work to improve financial processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Background in accounting, finance, or mortgage.
-Bilingual (Korean and English) preferred but not required.
Required Skills/Abilities:
-Solid experience in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers.
-Skill in reconciling bank statements, AP, and AR transactions.
-Proficient in using QuickBooks and MS Excel.
-Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and compliance.
Education and Experience:
-Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
-At least two or more years of Accounting experience preferred.
-Mortgage Accounting Experience/Background preferred.
