Fashion Designer
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop seasonal collections from concept to production
• Research and analyze trends, fabrics, and colors to create marketable designs
• Maintain deep knowledge of garment construction, fit, fabrics (woven & knit), including trims
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including domestic and overseas production partners
• Create and maintain mini PO’s, design tech packs, line sheets, and sample development and approvals
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure all designs align with the Blue Blush brand aesthetic and quality standards
Qualifications:
• Proven experience managing design development of Company orders and follow-up with key accounts
(e.g., Lulus, Winsor, Urban Outfitters, Altar'd State, and mid-tier companies and boutique accounts, etc.)
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fitting, and fabric selection
• Knowledge of domestic production processes is a plus
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Excellent teamwork, time management, and communication skills
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Compensation:
• 3-5 years of experience: 60K and Up DOE (higher rates depending on experience)
• Assistant Designer: $20 - $24/hourly
