Financial Analyst - Real Estate Development (Due Diligence, Temp to Perm)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Financial Analyst to join our Real Estate Development firm on a temporary basis, with the potential to transition into a permanent role. This individual will play a critical role in our due diligence efforts, analyzing financial data, and providing insights to support our real estate development and investment decisions. A college degree in finance, real estate, or a related field is required. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of financial principles and possess the ability to apply these principles within the real estate development context.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct financial analysis and due diligence for real estate development projects, including cash flow analysis, investment return metrics, and risk assessment.
• Collaborate with the development team to gather, verify, and analyze financial information related to potential acquisitions and developments.
• Prepare detailed financial models and projections for new development opportunities, including scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Review and analyze legal documents, contracts, and other materials as part of the due diligence process.
• Monitor market trends and perform competitive market analysis to inform project feasibility and investment strategy.
• Support the preparation of investment memorandums, due diligence reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Assist with the management of financial documentation and compliance for ongoing development projects.
• Work closely with external partners, including financial institutions, investors, and consultants, to ensure thorough and accurate financial analysis.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with a solid foundation in financial analysis and modeling, specifically within the real estate sector.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create complex financial models.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial data and analysis clearly and concisely.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of real estate development, market analysis, and due diligence processes.
• Experience in a real estate development or financial analysis role is highly preferred.

• Compensation: Competitive, commensurate with experience and the real estate industry standards.
