We are located in Brea, CA, and have an opening for a Program Manager (Mechanical, Industrial, or equivalent industry engineer experience) within our growing company
in the defense industry. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits. The position includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
This position will be customer-facing Korean defense companies to help support and resolve quality issues that may arise. A customer will report an issue.
The QE will be responsible for communicating the issue to the team and helping to resolve the problem. This may involve PPAPs, containment, and scheduling sorting activities, as well as writing detailed reports on analysis and other corrective actions. Also, it may require going on travel to have meetings with customers to help troubleshoot and
determine the issues and provide resolution. Will involve direct customer communication (written and verbal).
Skills:
• Experience in automotive quality (preferred but not required)
• Possess a general working knowledge of automotive or industrial manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s in engineering (Mechanical or Industrial preferred but not required)
• Ability to read and understand mechanical blueprints to obtain specifications.
• Strong troubleshooting
• Excellent customer service skills (written and verbal communication)
Qualification
• 4-year Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in Engineering or related field
• 2-3 years minimum experience in the manufacturing field (preferred but not required)
• Strong mechanical and control troubleshooting aptitudes.
• Data acquisition and analysis with MS Excel or similar skills are required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Must have the ability to effectively work in a fast-paced environment while organizing personal schedules and managing multiple projects.
• Must have the ability to solve practical problems and maintain accuracy, quality, and completeness while carrying out responsibilities with minimal supervision
• Must be able to work as part of a team and communicate well with other engineers.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to set and achieve goal
• Must be detail-oriented and organized.
• Bilingual – Korean and English
