Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Marketing Specialist to join our Kara Beauty team. As a Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our products. You will work closely with the design & sales team to create engaging content, manage social media platforms, and analyze marketing data to drive business growth. Experience in beauty/fashion/CPG industry is a plus! Must have interest in beauty.
Duties:
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, and traditional marketing
- Create and optimize content for websites, blogs, social media platforms, and email marketing campaigns
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs and trends
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product positioning and messaging
- Monitor and analyze marketing data to measure campaign effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations for improvement
- Manage social media accounts, including creating engaging posts, responding to comments, and monitoring trends
- Assist in the planning and execution of events, trade shows, and other promotional activities
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in marketing
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field
- 2-4 years of proven experience in marketing or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools
- Plus if proficient in RivalIQ, Hootsuite, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Experience with budgeting and managing marketing expenses
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and product management is a plus
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
