Job Description:

The Record Security Identification Unit (RSIU) is seeking candidates who are enthusiastic, highly motivated, analytical and committed to providing quality customer service. The Manager II will supervise employees who are responsible for identification card (ID) and driver license (DL) record review, corrections, and maintenance. The Manager II plans, organizes, supervises and coordinates the functions of staff ensuring the accuracy of the DL/ID records with consistency to departmental objectives and policies, assists with hiring and training of employees, coordinating the workflow with other units, sections, divisions, and agencies, prepares and interprets statistical projections concerning workload data. This also involves the update, deletion, issuance, cancellation, controlling, and monitoring of ID/DL record information. The Manager II monitors employee attendance and performance, handles complex phone calls regarding financial fraud, identity theft, and sensitive civil matters, and resolves personnel problems. Limited Term up to 24 months ending June 30, 2017. Permanent opportunities may become available. No Flextime. Saturday overtime may be required.
