Collaborating with franchisees and store managers to ensure adherence to brand standards
Monitoring financial performance and implementing strategies for cost control and revenue growth
Leading training programs to enhance the skills of the operations team
Implementing and maintaining health and safety standards across all locations

Marketing Coordinator Responsibilities


Core Responsibilities

Serve as point person for communications between the US / Philippines Marketing Team.
Provide accurate English -> Korean -> English translation for the smooth transfer of direction, input and feedback between SomiSomi and Korean Vendor or Partners.
Provide summaries and reports to the Marketing/Branding General Manager and Marketing Manager of all communications with Korean-language based partnerships, campaigns, and events.
Attend Marketing Team meetings and maintain minutes of said meetings on behalf of the Marketing/Branding General Manager and Marketing Manager.
Assist with maintaining communications with other company departments (Operations, Franchise Support, HR, Accounting, IT), and help the team address any intra-company Marketing related requests (urgent store signage, ad hoc social media posts).
Follow our content calendar to help with organizing campaigns and facilitating the work of the team.
Assist with coordinating local store-based photo and video shoots and influencer shoots.
Research current marketing and advertising trends, with a focus on Social Media marketing (TikTok, IG reels, YT Shorts in particular), soft serve, desserts and food/beverages at large.
Be prepared to Pick up, Packaging and Mail-out marketing materials to stores.
Exercise your imagination by developing concepts to further enhance the creative output of the department.
Manage and manufacture in-office ice cream machines for in-studio shooting.
Communicating and reaching out to influencers.
Scheduling and publishing of posts in SNS channels
Monitoring Feedback and Community Management across SNS channels.
Be prepared to address any other marketing-related work.


Skills & Requirements:

At least 1 year of Dept. Office Coordinator or Assistant experience.
Strong communication skills (oral and writing) in English and Korean.
Strong work ethic, with the ability to motivate team members.
Strong interpersonal skills, good listener, empathetic to others.
Ability to organize and multitask across several ongoing projects at once and able to manage competing demands.
Ability to work on weekends or late night occasionally.
Must have a driver's license and be able to drive long distances.
Analytical brain that craves structure and organization while still respecting the improvisational demands of the creative process.
Degree in Marketing, creative or related field preferred.
Proficiency with Google Apps (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.); Monday.com; Slack.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
