Job Description:

Under the direction of the Manager I., tactfully communicate with the public/others. Utilize the Driver Safety Automation system and the department's other computer systems to schedule hearings, interviews and reexaminations. Solve problems posed by the public, law enforcement and other government agencies by phone, mail and in-person. Handle incoming/outgoing mail, type notices, correspondence, and prepare reports with accuracy. Maintain and prepare documents and files for microfilming and fill requests for department reviews. We are looking for a reliable, self motivated individual with great communication and organizational skills. Must multitask and handle a high volume of work in an efficient manner. Must work well with others and have good attendance. Also, must be able to implement continuous improvement practices within the work unit, maintain confidentiality and adhere to information security/office policies, procedures and expectations. Desirable skills: verbal and written communication skills, analytical skills, interpersonal skills, ability to contribute to team goals and objectives with peers/upper management.
