JOB TITLE: HR Generalist


Job Type: Non Exempt , Full Time

DEPARTMENT: Human Resources

LOCATION: Commerce, CA 90040



The HR Generalist is responsible for a wide range of Human Resources support and administration covering HRIS, office Administration, benefits, compliance, and employment law.


JOB DUTIES include but are not limited to the following: 

    • Work closely alongside with HR manager

    • Assist in all aspects of performance reviews 

    • Maintains and stay updated in compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations

    • Assist in day to day operations of the HR functions and duties

    • Accurately enters all new hire information & stay updated in any new changes in HRIS system using ADP Workforce Now 

    • Take full responsibility of new hire orientations/ onboarding/ offboarding/ exit interviews

    • Assist with ER related issues/ reportings

    • Must be able to run HRIS reports via ADP Workforce Now & assist with labor cost reporting

    • Assist in development and enforcement of all company policies, procedures and best practices.

    • Answer employee questions and addresses employee concerns with company, including employee safety and training

    • Provides clerical and administrative support

    • Order office supplies as needed

    • Prepare and assist in various company events & outings

    • Take charge in weekly Smart Meeting presentations to employees regards to company updates, announcements, and 

         team building actives

    • Assist with Workers Compensation claims 

    • Work closely with immigration attorney for Visa sponsorships 

    • Work closely with temp agencies for temp employees timecard approvals and other requests needed from 

         warehouse / CK managers

    • Perform full cycle recruitment ( job posting, sourcing, phone interview, in person interview, background check, prepare 

         offer letter, new hire documents, etc)

    • Perform other related duties as required and assigned



    • 2-4 years of HR experiences are preferred

    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in HR or any other related field 

    • Previous experience with HRIS required, preferably ADP Workforce Now

    • Basic knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to employment 

         (i.e., discrimination and harassment, wage and hours, etc.)

    • Basic knowledge in LOA, FMLA, Workers Compensation administration, and HRIS

    • Service minded and outside the box thinkers

    • Intermediate knowledge of MS office Suite – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

    • Effective speaking/presentations to address small and large groups

    • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively

    • Must be detail oriented 

    • English Korean bilingual preferred

REPORTS TO: Regional Manager

Job Type: Full Time Employee

DEPARTMENT:  Operations

JOB DUTIES include but are not limited to the following: 

Ø​ Sales Performance Management

    •Franchise stores operating strategies

    • Sales Improvement 

    • Check the sales ( Daily, Weekly & Monthly ) 

    • New product Management ( CK release )

    • Sales Promotion Plan 


Ø​ Operational support​ 

    •Analyse & consult the franchise P/L

    • A/R management

    • Intensive care strategies stores  

    • Planning the increasing store sales 

    • ​Visit store & check the Quality, Service, and Cleanliness of the store

     • Prepare new store open process ( Event, Order & Training)

     • Support a new store development(Design, drawings, Interior, lay out) 

     • Provide Market Intelligence(Competitors, Event, New store open, New site )


Ø​ Risk Management ​ 

    •  Sanitary inspection for all stores regularly

o        ​    Train how to manage store to improve

    •​    Handling customer complaints & real-time reporting



 ​   •  Keep relationship with franchise owner

     •​  Communicate the franchise regulations with franchisee

     •​   Communicate well with the related-vendors




    • Service minded and outside the box thinkers

    • 3 years of bakery or restaurant management

    • Familiar with bakery/cafe 

    • Must be able to travel up to 70% to time

    • Intermediate knowledge of MS office Suite – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

    • English Korean bilingual
