JOB TITLE: District Manager

Reporting to: Director of Sales
Classification: Exempt 
Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000
Travel Required: Yes (Overnight and Daily travel) 
 
As a District Manager:
  • Motivate team through a compelling vision and direction to deliver great customer experience. 
  • Strong sense of urgency and attention to details.
  • Partner with corporate departments, peers, vendors and key business partners assigned in territory.
  • Act as a leader amongst peers in the field and with Home Office. 
  • Lead consistent store visits, conference calls, and meetings to provide proactive feedback and solutions. 
  • Communicate clear expectations and hold the store teams accountable to achieving all brand, performance and 
     behavior standards. 
  • Grow team proactively by strategizing, challenging and developing them.

Preferred Qualifications:  
  • Must have two years of multi-unit retail experience. 
  • Five years management experience in retail environment.
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, strategizing, interpersonal, problem solving, presentation, budgeting, project management 
     (from conception to completion), and planning skills.
  • Excellent customer service and oral/written communication skills.
  • Positive work attitude.
  • Demonstrate financial results in both sales and multi-store management.
  • Strong background in training, coaching and developing employees, along with an undeniable talent for motivating your sales 
     team to greater heights.
  • Experience in operational and financial performance management, especially when it comes to site P&L.
  • Solid computer proficiency including MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint). 
  • Availability for flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Strong professional and business ethic.
  • Must be able to be standing for long periods of time and able to lift up to 50lbs.

Duties and Responsibilities:  
  • People Operations:
     o Meet and uphold all TM Wireless Company Standards and Policies while dutifully representing the T-Mobile brand.  
     o Understand and respect company hierarchy and adhere to the chain of command for direction. 
     o Evaluate performance, behaviors and take appropriate personnel actions including promotion, demotion, transfer, separation, 
         and any additional status changes. 
     o Ensure stores are properly staffed according to the business traffic and projection. 
     o Meet regularly with Store Managers to discuss day-to-day operations, upcoming store events, promotions, and training.
     o Be the driving force in coaching district teams, motivating them, helping them develop, as well as making the tough 
         decisions when the team needs to be held accountable.
     o Build the team of Retail Store Mangers by equipping them to hire and train their team members that can deliver the 
         best possible customer experiences.
     o Ensure the seamless processing of store payroll by reviewing and approving Retail Store Managers timecards by payroll deadline.
     o Acts as a liaison between retail stores and corporate departments. 

  • Store Operations:
     o Provide guidance to the Retail Store Managers to meet Brand Audit Standards.
     o Ensure the district to meet and exceed brand compliance indicators such as Brand Audit Readiness, MyMerch Compliance, 
         and Store Cleanliness. 
     o Maintain and safeguard Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI and PCI) in the stores.
     o Ensure all Merchandising updates have been executed and maintained in the stores.

  • Sales Operations:
     o Execute the sales initiatives and strategies.
     o Must be able to foster a culture and high energy team to demonstrate excellent customer service.
     o Set proper expectations with Retail Store Managers by sharing goals, observations, and reporting to create a 
         goal-oriented environment.
     o Recognize and celebrate extraordinary customer experience and performance results.
     o Analyze each store’s P&L and review, communicate, teach Store Managers how to schedule effectively.
     o Make decisions that will impact sales behaviors.
     o Other additional projects or duties, as assigned.
