Job Overview:
As a vital member of our team, the Technical Sales Representative position at VMECA offers a unique opportunity to spearhead business expansion through nurturing robust client connections. Your core responsibilities will involve prospecting fresh avenues for growth, advocating for our comprehensive range of products and solutions, and prioritizing customer contentment. We seek a candidate adept in communication, boasting a stellar sales history, and equipped with expertise in pneumatic and automation domains.
Job Responsibilities:
Customer Relationship Management:
- Foster and maintain strong connections with current and potential customers
- Understand customer needs and offer suitable solutions using VMECA's products and services
- Keep in touch regularly to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns
Sales and Business Development:
- Seek and pursue new business chances in the assigned area
- Reach and exceed sales goals with proactive sales strategies
- Develop and implement with effective sales plans to maximize revenue
Product Knowledge:
- Keep up to date with VMECA’s products and what's happening in the industry
- Provide product demonstration and technical support
- Work with other teams to answer customer inquiries and provide solution
Market Research:
- Identify market trends, competitor activities, and opportunities
- Think about what's happening in the market and suggest changes to sales plans
Reporting and Documentation:
- Keep careful records of sales, talking with customers, and market info
- Prepare monthly sales reports and forecasts for management
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the pneumatic and automation industry
- Strong knowledge of pneumatic and automation products and applications
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Sales, or a related field is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant sales experience
