Accounting Specialist
We are a established, multi-company organization seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate has strong QuickBooks Online experience, excellent organizational skills, and enjoys working in a fast-paced business environment.

Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online
Record Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions
Process vendor bills and customer payments
Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger
Reconcile payroll entries from third-party payroll providers
Assist with month-end and year-end closing
Maintain fixed asset schedules
Process sales tax filings
Review financial reports for accuracy
Organize accounting records and supporting documentation
Work with management and CPA during audits and tax preparation
Assist with inventory and cost tracking (preferred)
Qualifications Required
Entry or Junior Level bookkeeping or accounting experience
Strong experience with QuickBooks Online
Excellent knowledge of bank reconciliations
Experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
High attention to detail
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Preferred
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Experience with Office administration
Experience with payroll journal entries
Experience in retail, wholesale, manufacturing, or dental industry
Knowledge of GAAP
