IMPORT PRODUCTION MANAGER
Our mission
Build a place in DTLA where working together is our core principle and where wins are shared. If craftsmanship and professionalism matter to you, you’re what we're looking for.
You'll own production from sample to ship: fit, vendor communication, sample flow, and on-time delivery. Hands-on work for someone who reads tech packs in their sleep and can keep overseas vendors honest without burning the relationship.
What you'll do
Evaluate fit, drape, and construction; measure samples against tech packs; maintain fit notes and WIP reports. Manage sample flow (PP, TOP, shoot samples) and coordinate with marketing. Issue POs, review swatches, and prepare full specs including sewing instructions, trims, labels, and packing details. Communicate daily with overseas vendors on costing, lead times, approvals, and QC. Coordinate shipping, labeling, and packing lists per PO. Collaborate with design, sales, and production to keep timelines real.
What we're looking for
5+ years in production at a women's apparel company. Strong eye for fit and construction. Comfortable managing overseas vendors and organized enough to run multiple POs and sample rounds in parallel. Calm under pressure.
• Minimum 5+ years experience managing production required
• $70,000+ salary depending on experience
• Exceptional attention to detail and multi-tasking
• Benefits include: 401k, Health Insurance
To apply: Send your resume and a short note to mike@koriamerica.com
