1. Designer
Job Description:
As a Designer you will be responsible for creating high quality, cost effective designs that align with the Umgee’s customers demand and image. You are the driving force of product creation and development tasked with creating clothing our customers can wear everyday and for all occasions.
Responsibilities:
• Conceptualize and develop seasonal collections aligned with brand identity, customer demand and pricing strategy
• Research and development of fabrications, colors, silhouettes, and market trends
• Create detailed sketches and tech packs with clear construction, measurements and finishing details
• Select fabrics, trims, and colorways within cost parameters and alignment with customer demand.
• Ensure designs meet quality standards, fit requirements and market requirements.
Key Qualifications: 
• Minimum 7 years of professional fashion design experience in a full design role (internships, assistant, and associate-level experience excluded)
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and fabrication
• Demonstrated ability to design within target costs and margin requirements
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (or equivalent design software)
• Experience working cross-functionally with merchandising, production, sales, and sourcing teams
• Ability to manage multiple seasons and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Proven track record of delivering designs that meet quality standards, timelines, and sales objectives
Additional Requirements (Education, Training, and Experience):
• Bachelors Degree is Fashion Design or Apparel Design
• Digital portfolio of designs and sketches
• Fluency in both English and Korean, written and verbal

Salary Starting Range: $85,000

2. Production Assistant
Job Description:
As a Production Assistant you are excellent with time management and can handle a variety of duties simultaneously. This role works cross-functionally with design and production. You are responsible for having strong organizational and communication skills and following up with all the duties assigned by the design department.
Responsibilities:
• Sample Management
o Coordinate the sample development process, including requesting, receiving, and logging samples 
o Track sample status across fittings, revisions, and approvals 
o Organize and maintain the sample room or inventory 
o Prepare samples for fittings, presentations, or shipment
• Production Tracking
o Track production orders from initial placement through final delivery 
o Maintain and update production calendars and timelines 
o Monitor each stage of production to ensure deadlines are met 
o Flag delays or issues to production managers and relevant teams
• Quality Control Support
o Assist with quality inspections and review of incoming goods 
o Document quality issues and help coordinate resolutions 
o Ensure products meet brand specifications and standards
• Administrative Support
o Schedule and prepare for fit sessions and production meetings 
o Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems 
o Handle general administrative tasks supporting the production team
Key Qualifications:
• Strong understanding of clothing terminology and a garment construction
• Familiar with production timelines and quality control processes
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
• Able to manage multiple styles and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in both English and Korean, written and verbal
Education & Experience
• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion, Fashion Design, or related fields
• 1-2+ Years experience as a Production Assistant 
• Experience working in a wholesale or retail apparel

3. Designer’s Assistant
Job Description:
As a Designer's Assistant you are excellent with time management and can handle a variety of duties simultaneously. This role works cross-functionally with design and production. You are responsible for having strong organizational and communication skills and following up with all the duties assigned by the design department.
Responsibilities:
• Must work directly with Senior Designers
• Assistant design and product development teams
• Sample management and delegation with new products and for all design related meetings.
• Extremely organized and able to multi-task
• Must be skilled in the usage of Microsoft office and other programs defined by Umgee USA
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in order to work with team members in Design and Production.
• Highly interested in women's fashion
• Must research seasonal trends, fabrics, and silhouettes

Key Qualifications:
• Associates or Bachelors Degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising or related fields
• Minimum 1 - 3 years experience in wholesale womens apparel, designer's assistant position

Salary Starting Range: $20 - $23

4. Trade Show Associate
Job Description:
The Trade Show Associate serves as a frontline representative of Umgee USA at trade show events throughout the calendar year. This role is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, generating wholesale sales orders, and presenting Umgee’s products and promotions with enthusiasm and expertise. The Trade Show Associate reports directly to the Trade Show Team Manager or Department Manager and plays a vital role in driving revenue, building buyer relationships, and upholding Umgee’s brand standards on the trade show floor.
Responsibilities:
In Office Duties:
• Pull, barcode and merchandise product samples for Trade Show(s) and sales meetings
• Receive, unpack and organize clothing samples
• Check, organize supply inventory for Trade Show(s), and report to Team Managers of supplies that need to be ordered
• Data Entry with Microsoft Word/Excel and other programs defined by Umgee
• Serve as liaison between various department to facilitate smooth communication
• Ensure clothing samples and supplies are prepared and ready to ship by deadlines
• Clean, maintain and organize clothing sample preparation area
• Coordinate travel arrangement for in-house employees and temporary sales reps
• Support Trade Show team with booth set-up, material and sample handling at Trade Show(s)
• Assist customer service with processing orders from the trade show
• Maintain a thorough and up-to-date knowledge of Umgee’s current product lines, promotions, and brand story.
• Collaborate with fellow associates and team members to ensure a smooth, efficient, and high-quality trade show experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Trade Show Team Manager or Department Manager.

Trade Show Duties:
• Receive and organize merchandise accurately, implementing Umgee product displays by purchase order due dates and immediates.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free trade show booth at all times; promptly address and report any safety concerns to the Team Manager.
• Handle damaged merchandise promptly and according to company procedure; document and report to the appropriate manager.
• Complete opening and closing checklists as directed by management; ensure the booth is properly set up and secured at the start and end of each event day.
• Assist with trade show booth setup and breakdown under the direction of the Team Manager or Department Manager.

Key Qualifications:
• Associate degree, vocational school training, or coursework in Fashion Marketing, Retail, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience working in a women’s wholesale fashion environment strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with trade show environments, wholesale order processing, and ERP systems a plus.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to fulfilling scheduled trade show assignments and travel obligations.
• Able to professionally and effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with staff, customers, and buyers from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team; takes initiative, prioritizes tasks accurately, and meets deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced 
trade show environment.
• Must possess basic knowledge of all Microsoft Word & Excel, and other program(s) as defined by Umgee
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in order to work with team
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. box(es) and use ladders
• Willing to travel up to 18 weeks a year (domestic)

Travel Requirements
This role requires regular domestic travel to trade show locations. Applicants must be able and willing to travel on short notice, comply with all airline/venue/company travel policies, and maintain valid identification required for domestic air travel (e.g., REAL ID compliance).
