Description:
The role of the designer is to conceptualize and design products according to customer demand and in alignment with the Umgee brand. You are tasked with the duties to create products that our customers know and love, a vital role in organizational success.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
• Minimum 7 years of professional fashion design experience in both contemporary or young contemporary fashion.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design or Apparel Design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (or equivalent design software).
• Conceptualize and develop seasonal collections aligned with brand identity, customer demand and pricing strategy.
• Research and development of fabrications, colors, silhouettes, and market trends.
• Ensure designs meet quality standards, fit requirements and market requirements.
• Proven track record of delivering designs that meet quality standards, timelines, and sales objectives.
Wages: Starting $85,000
2. Designer Assistant
Description:
As a designer assistant, you are responsible for partnering with the head designer to streamline the design process and assist with administrative tasks that are crucial to the success of the design process.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
• Minimum 1 year of experience in design assistant positions
• Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design or Apparel Design (Preferred)
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (or equivalent design software).
• Strong administrative skills
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Highly interested in women’s fashion
Wages: Starting $23/hr
3. Production Assistant
Description:
As a production assistant you are an administrative professional tasked with duties requiring high attention to detail and strong communication skills. You are responsible for assisting the production team with sample management and allocating the appropriate samples to all sales teams.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in design/production assistant positions
• Associate or bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design or Apparel Design (Preferred)

4. PO Team Assistant
Description:
As a PO team assistant you are play a vital role in data entry, data analysis, and inventory management. You are tasked with assisting in generating sales reports, data analysis reports and accurate data entry into our ERP system.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in apparel production, merchandising, and buying.
• Associate or bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Apparel Merchandising, Data Analytics
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs and ERP Programs
• Able to generate sales reports and production reports.
• Assist with inventory planning and re-order tracking
• Cross functional team support to sales teams
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Strong administrative skills

5. Graphic Design/ Photo Editor
Description:
As a graphic designer/ photo editor, you are responsible for the color correction and photo editing process for our web department. You are also tasked with the creative duties to create web banners and appealing email marketing content. Your shared ideas of how to approach our e-commerce photo shoots will also be a valuable attribute to the success of your role and the team.
