Fashion Knits Import Designer (Young Contemporary & Junior)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and trend-driven Fashion Knits Import Designer to join our team, specializing in young contemporary and junior markets. This role is ideal for a creative professional with a strong eye for fashion, deep understanding of knitwear, and established vendor relationships—particularly in China.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop knitwear collections for young contemporary and junior customer segments
- Research and interpret seasonal trends, colors, fabrics, and silhouettes to create commercially viable designs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including merchandising, production, and sourcing
- Manage communication with overseas vendors, ensuring design execution aligns with brand standards
- Source yarns, trims, and fabrics, leveraging strong vendor connections in China
- Oversee sample development, fittings, and revisions to achieve optimal fit and quality
- Ensure timelines are met from concept through production
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in knitwear design, preferably in import/private label environments
- Strong understanding of young contemporary and junior fashion markets
- Established vendor network and sourcing experience in China preferred
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Excellent knowledge of knit construction, yarns, and garment development
- Strong trend awareness with the ability to translate direction into product
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills

Associate Designer (Photoshop Focus)
Job description:
OG Team is looking for an Associate level designer. We are a Junior Contemporary Knits/ Graphics driven company.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Associate Fashion Designer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for design, a passion for fashion trends, and advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop. The Associate Designer will support the design team in developing seasonal collections, creating digitally modified photos, and translating concepts into production-ready designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of seasonal collections from concept to final product
- Collaborate with senior designers and cross-functional teams including merchandising and production
- Revise designs based on feedback and maintain organized digital files
- Support fittings and communicate updates or changes to the team
Qualifications:
-Associates degree in Fashion Design or Graphic Design (or equivalent experience)
- 1–3 years of experience in fashion design or a similar role
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop (Illustrator is a plus)
- Strong understanding of garment construction, textiles, and color theory
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
