Job Title: Accountant
Location: In-Office - Vernon, CA
Schedule: Full-Time; Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
Compensation: $71k to $90K

Position Summary
The accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting day-to-day accounting operations, and managing inventory activity. This role works closely with Chief Finance Officer, Controller, Customer Service, Sales, and Warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including vendor invoices and customer payments.
- Manage bank and credit card reconciliations on a regular basis.
- Track inventory across wholesale, retail, and e-commerce.
- Manage COGS calculations, that include freight allocations and landed costs.
- Prepare and review monthly financial reports; support month-end and year-end close processes
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and accounting standards
- Partner with external accountants or auditors as needed.
- Analyze margins, sell-through, inventory aging.
- Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts.
- Support ad hoc finance and operations projects.
Qualifications
- Bilingual (English and Korean) preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Account, Finance or related field.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably with the apparel, fashion or consumer goods industries.
- Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
- Experience with inventory accounting and UNICAP (Uniform Capitalization) rules, including capitalization of manufacturing and production-related costs.
- Familiarity with financial and sales tax nexus requirements for multi-state businesses.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP), and QuickBooks or other ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial data.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
- Solid organizational and time management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
