Back Office Medical Assistant-Gastroenterology
Location: Orange County, CA/ Full-time
Busy Gastroenterology practice in Orange County seeking an experienced Back Office Medical Assistant to join our clinical team. We are looking for a dependable, organized professional who thrives in a fast paced specialty environment.
Responsibilities:
• Room patients, obtain vitals, update medical history
• Assist physician with exams and in-office GI procedures(optional)
• Process labs, referral, and prior authorizations
• Document accurately in EMR
• Provide patient education and follow-up instructions
Qualifications
• Medical Assistant certification preferred
• 1+ year clinical experience (GI experience a plus)
• EMR proficiency
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Bilingual (Korean) required
