Buttermelon is a fast-growing women’s wholesale clothing brand launched in the summer of 2022.
Starting with a strong foundation through our online presence, we have steadily expanded our channels to include a showroom, company, and trade shows, we have built a strong customer base nationwide and actively participate in major trade shows across the U.S., including Las Vegas, Atlanta, Dallas, Nashville, and New York. continuing to build and strengthen our brand’s reach across the U.S. With our trendy, unique, and fun styles, we have built a loyal customer base and are rapidly growing in the wholesale market.
We are now seeking talented, responsible, and motivated individuals to join our team in the following positions:
1. In-House & Company Sales Rep
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with company accounts
• Send line sheets at the right time to showcase new styles and drive interest
• Set up regular meetings with buyers to present our line and strengthen relationships
• Conduct Zoom meetings to introduce and explain our collections effectively
• Follow up on company (in-house) orders, including PO tracking and delivery schedules
• Track and manage sample flow
• Prepare and track quarterly & yearly sales plans
• Occasionally travel for sales trips to meet clients in person
Qualifications:
• Fluent in English (Korean is a plus)
• Experience in wholesale apparel sales or company account management preferred
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable conducting professional meetings with buyers
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and a strong team player
• Open to learning and adaptable to new tasks
• Positive, can-do attitude with a team-first mindset
2. Trade Show Sales Rep
Key Responsibilities:
• Travel to major U.S. trade shows (Las Vegas, Atlanta, Dallas, Nashville, New York, etc.)
• Develop yearly and quarterly sales plans
• Meet with buyers, build strong relationships, and process orders at shows
• Follow up after shows to ensure all orders are processed and shipped smoothly without issues
• Reach out to new customers to establish new accounts and appointments
• Follow up with existing clients to encourage repeat visits and orders
• Manage for booth setup and break down & show preparation
• Manage and assist with sample organization
Qualifications:
• Fluent in English (Korean is a plus)
• 3+ years of sales experience (wholesale apparel preferred)
• Strong communication skills and ability to connect with clients
• Knowledge of fashion trends and ability to represent the brand
• Responsible, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Open to learning and adaptable to new tasks
• Positive, can-do attitude with a team-first mindset
