[Job Overview]
The Sales Senior Associate in a food wholesale business is responsible for driving sales growth by managing client relationships, securing new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position requires a comprehensive knowledge of food products, market trends, and customer needs. Reporting to the CEO of CJ Freshway America Corp., the Sales Senior Associate will engage in close collaboration with internal teams, including members at HQ Korea, to contribute to the achievement of revenue targets, while concurrently maintaining the highest service standards. The ideal candidate will assist in the management of client accounts, the promotion of food products to retailers, restaurants, and distributors, and the assurance of excellent customer service throughout the sales process.

[Key Responsibilities]
· Implement sales and marketing strategies according to the company’s business plan
· Develop new customers and new items in the wholesale/food service/ retail market for trading business
· Administer communication with vendors and customers, resolve issues between trade partners, and escalate the issues to the supervisor when deemed necessary
· Foster and maintain strong professional partnerships with suppliers and customers to ensure pricing, product quality, and sales terms meet company standards
· Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling related food products and achieve or exceed monthly sales targets
· Understand product specifications, pricing, and availability to effectively advise customers
· Prepare, maintain and update sales-related files, reports & price lists to ensure accurate inventory reporting and traceability
· Manage and monitor the collection of accounts receivable (A/R) dues
· Analyze sales data to support a data-driven decision-making process and the creation of effective strategies
· Administer the new vendor and product setup process, and ensure all necessary documents are in order
· Monitor inventory and place routine purchase orders to ensure products are available for the time of sale
· Calculate the cost of orders and charge or forward invoices to the appropriate accounts
· Act as a liaison with other departments and companies to keep operations and other relevant parties informed of shipments, prices, and product changes
· Prepare necessary ad hoc reports for HQ Korea
· Perform other sales and purchasing-related duties as required and assigned

[Qualifications]
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
· 3-5 years of sales-related experience with 2 or more years as a Sales Senior Associate
· Strong knowledge of industry market trends and conditions
· Excellent knowledge of the buying and selling process
· Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
· Possess exceptional organizational skills & the ability to multi-task
· The ability to create a strong working relationship with personnel, customer, supplier and management
· Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
· Strong verbal communication skills and presentation skills
· Proficiency working in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoints)
· Bilingual preferred (English: Professional Level /Korean: Intermediate Level)

[Travel]
· Less than 50%


The anticipated base salary range for candidates who will work in Los Angeles is $69K to $74K. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be subject to several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of the candidate’s experience within the job; type and length of experience within the specific industry; educational background; and the location of internship. This hourly wage range may not reflect the pay scale for interns who work in other states.
