Customer Service Representative
Responsibilities
- Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and faxes from customers.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, stock availability, lead times, and order tracking while effectively addressing concerns.
- Document and report customer interactions, transactions, inquiries, complaints, and feedback to the president
- Provide sales support by assisting customers and the sales team with order-related requests.
- Prioritize daily orders and customer requests to ensure timely fulfillment.
- Verify and update customer information as needed.
- Send order acknowledgments to confirm receipt.
- Monitor order progress and coordinate with the warehouse, logistics, sales team, and customers to address any issues.
- Ensure prompt resolution of customer concerns and order discrepancies.
- Maintain strong working relationships with customers, sales personnel, and internal departments.
- Act as a liaison between the general manager, customers, and vendors regarding invoices and payments.
- Perform administrative tasks, including vendor setup, accurate invoice entry, and supplier payment processing.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical filing systems for efficient record retention and access.
- Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to overall efficiency.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in QuickBooks
- Proficiency in Office365; Outlook, Excel and Word
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and relationship management
- Great interpersonal skills
- Professional, courteous, and diplomatic demeanor
- Strong organizational and filing skills
- Strong math and literacy skills
- Effective time management
Working Hours
Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $54,000.00 - $69,000.00 per year
