Activity Center Member Service Specialist (Korean Speaking)
The Activity Center Member Service Specialist acts as a liaison between Astiva Health and our valued members. This role plays an important part in ensuring member satisfaction and member retention.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include:
• Educates members, family, providers and caregivers regarding benefits and plan options.
• Accurately, explain plan’s procedures, protocols, benefits, services, and any other necessary information to the members who visit the activity centers.
• Provides follow-up with members by clarifying the customer’s issue, determining the cause, and identifying and explaining the solution. Escalates appropriate member issues to management or other departments as required.
• Facilitate member requests for changes with network provider changes, OTC orders, transportation requests, or any other member request for assistance as appropriate.
• Make all attempts to resolve all member dis-enrollment / cancellation requests, complaint / grievances, and assist the member with their questions or concerns and following up as appropriate.
• Must be bilingual in Korean and English.
• Able to work in our LA Korea Town Activity Center, located in the Galleria Market building.
Work schedule may include Saturdays.
• Medicare insurance license must be obtained within 90 days of the employment

The base hourly range for this full-time position is $21.00-$25.00

Member Services Specialist (Korean speaking)
The Member Service Specialist is responsible for answering telephonic inquiries from current and potential members and providers regarding Medicare Advantage benefits, eligibility, enrollment, claims, referral, prior authorizations, appeals & grievances and other related concerns. Our Member Service Specialists ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent customer service, displaying a desire to help and maintaining a professional demeanor. Member Service Specialists will be expected to maintain quality and performance standards. Must be bilingual in Korean and English. Able to work in our corporate office located in Orange, CA.

Number of positions: 2

The base hourly range for this full-time position is $20.00-$24.00
