Overview
We are a family-owned and operated vertically integrated real estate investment company based in LA County, engaging in the investment, development and management of residential, commercial, and industrial properties primarily in Southern California. We are seeking a motivated, organized, and proactive individual to join our team long-term as the property manager of our firm's real estate portfolio.
Key Responsibilities• Responsible for all operations of portfolio properties, including but not limited leasing, rent collection, maintenance & repairs, capital improvements, lease enforcement, budgeting, and tenant communications / relations
• Manage vendors and contractors for all maintenance, repair, tenant improvement, and other construction projects
• Manage and oversee third-party brokers, property managers, and professionals as it relates to operations
• Conduct on-site inspections (move-in, move-out, and regular/routine) throughout lease term to ensure good condition and upkeep of portfolio properties
• Oversee preparation, execution and enforcement of all contracts and documents, including leases, management contracts, listing agreements, vendor agreements, etc.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all activity re: properties
• Prepare property and operation reports
• Lead and manage property operations team members, which includes recruiting
• Collaborate with other members of team (ie asset management, development and accounting) to ensure smooth, efficient overall operations
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Minimum three (3) years experience in real estate, preferably property or asset management
• Fluent in English, with strong communication skills
• Valid driver's license + comfortable driving throughout LA County and on occasion to SD county
• Proficiency with MS Office / Property Management Software experience is a plus
Schedule: Full Time
Salary: $60,000+ (Depending on skills, experience, etc.)
Work Location: In-Person (currently South Pasadena and then Vernon, CA in the fall of 2025)
