Current Air Clothing is a women's apparel manufacturer based out of Los Angeles, CA. We are professional, agile and fast-paced and rewarding.
Role:
• Visionary Leadership: Creative Directors must have a compelling and innovative vision for our brand, understanding its heritage and how to evolve it.
• Brand Storytelling: They need to communicate our brand’s story and creative direction effectively.
• Design Principles: While not the primary designer, they guide the design team and oversee design merchandising. Also, should be up to date with fashion trends and forecasts.
• Project Management: Will be responsible for the creative aspects of campaigns and marketing initiatives.
• Travel: Willing to travel to gain insight on current fashion trends.
Qualifications:
• Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in a creative field such as fashion design, marketing, or fine arts.
• Experience: At least 5 years in a similar or creative role is required.
• Skills: A strong understanding of fashion, trends, garment construction, and fashion culture is essential. Additionally, solid communication, organizational skills, and project management abilities are crucial.
• Personality: The role demands someone driven, able to handle pressure, and capable of leading with authority.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year

E-Commerce Director
About the Role: Current Air is seeking a dynamic, hands-on E-Commerce Director to lead our retail and e-commerce team based in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in branding and marketing, with a proven track record of successful marketing strategies. A creative thinker with an eye for innovative ideas, this role is pivotal in shaping the direction of our marketing campaigns, enhancing sales through creative merchandising, and maintaining the brand’s identity through compelling visual storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
• Creative Leadership: Lead and inspire the e-commerce team, acting as the key liaison with internal teams (Design and Wholesale), as well as external creative agencies.
• E-Commerce Growth: Develop and execute strategies to expand the brand’s online presence and drive e-commerce sales.
• Campaign Oversight: Manage marketing campaigns from concept through execution, delegating tasks and ensuring the creative process runs smoothly. Report and analyze the corresponding data and sales figures delivered from each campaign.
• Digital Marketing Strategy: Drive traffic from social media, digital affiliates, and paid ads to the retail site, as well as optimizing email marketing and online advertising efforts.
• Industry Awareness: Stay current with trends and developments in the fashion and e-commerce industries to ensure the brand remains competitive and innovative.
• Brand Consistency: Maintain brand identity across all platforms and keep the retail site landing fresh, collaborating with the design team and buying team on upcoming collections to ensure cohesive messaging.
Qualifications:
• Must be based in Los Angeles, CA, and able to work in-office.
• Proven experience in a creative brand or creative strategy role.
• Passion for women’s fashion and creative branding.
• Exceptional communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to solve complex business challenges through innovative strategies and impactful creative solutions.
• Demonstrated success in managing an e-commerce brand and sales growth.
• Strong interpersonal skills with experience collaborating across teams and working with external agencies to build long-term partnerships.
