• Pay range for all listed opennings:
$45,000 to $75,000/year
Logistics Operations/ Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but not limited to:
• Manage day to day import/export, air/ocean & transportation operations
• Create air/ocean export documentation including MB/L instruction, MAWB, HB/L or HAWB, manifest, invoices, delivery orders and file reports
• Manage AR/AP and Profit & Loss report and generate timely A/R, A/P billing and Report Profit & Loss
• Monitor all cargoes and provide reports to direct manager to avoid future issues
• Closely monitor and communicate effectively with customers throughout the logistics activity and a high volume of e-mails, phone calls
• Set objects and goals within the team and constantly improve operating process
• Ability to manage and provide proper trainings to the team members in order to provide excellent customer service
Administration/ Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but not limited to::
Provide general administrative support to the logistics department, including but not limited to managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence.
Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of shipments, orders, and inventory using our internal systems.
Coordinate with various internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
Prepare and maintain documentation related to shipping, receiving, and logistics operations, such as invoices, bills of lading, and customs forms.
Assist in monitoring and tracking shipments, ensuring they comply with regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
Handle inquiries and provide assistance to internal stakeholders, external clients, and suppliers regarding logistics-related matters.
Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize transportation routes and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Support the logistics team in preparing reports, analyzing data, and identifying trends to enhance operational efficiency.
Assist in managing office supplies, inventory, and equipment necessary for the logistics department's daily operations.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Drayage Dispatcher/ Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but not limited to:
Provide superior customer service to all customers, both internal and external.
Seek to increase cooperation and smooth flow of information/documents within and between departments to enhance efficiency in trucking and warehouse operations.
Dispatch for pickup and delivery of cargo to/from customers, marine terminals, rail terminals, off dock intermodal terminals, and warehouses, or other locations/facilities.
Monitor Hours of Service of drivers and Independent Contractors to ensure compliance with FMSCA regulations.
Monitor and use company cargo/shipment databases and a variety of websites for marine terminals, steamship lines, railroads, intermodal industry (eModal & UIIA) and other off dock facilities for availability, booking appointments, finding problems, seeking and developing solutions and using the gathered information to involve others with helping to resolve issues.
Communicate in a timely manner to internal departments and customers regarding the status of containers, appointments, marine and rail related challenges, detected vessel arrival changes, traffic related impacts and other difficulties.
Prepare, maintain, and disseminate to subscribing departments a daily dispatch report, which summarizes container status: active dispatch appointments, released and available, “needs attention or action” to become available for appointments.
Coordinate with Warehouses, Terminals, Customs Brokerage, and International Transportation departments to establish planning and priority for dispatch of available containers to manage upcoming production plans.
Communicate with customers, sales, and other departments to assemble information necessary to assure that incoming and outgoing shipments are dispatched in a timely and properly documented manner.
Assure that all shipments are accurately documented and signed for, research cargo status, container release, and location status via phone and e-mail.
Obtain necessary permits for trips that require them.
Update company and other appropriate electronic records on a timely and accurate basis.
Handle routine DOT, Vendor, and Dispatch documentation production and flow processes.
Develop from available resources rate quotes for drayage services as requested.
Input shipment information into company computer.
Maintain information in the strictest of confidence.
Support and actively comply with the security duties and responsibilities described in the C-TPAT Security Program document which was received and signed for upon hire.
Job Requirements:
• High school/ GED, Bachelors or associate degree preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft office suite. Excel critical to role, but not to hire.
• Attention to detail and well organized
• Strong time management skills
• Communication skills (written and verbal)
• Understanding of international shipping and transportation limitations and regulations
• US work authorization (Required)
• Bilingual (English / Korean)
