Apparel Production Coordinator
What you’ll do:
• Collaborate directly with our design department to submit new styles with a focus on quality and cost engineering
• Manage the sample flow, by providing shooting samples to marketing team, reviewing all PP and TOP samples, and returning required samples to the vendors
• Communicate directly with factories to move products efficiently through the sampling and manufacturing phases
• Collaborate with our production, warehouse, and management teams to keep product lifecycle on track
• Issue PO’s to suppliers
• Analyze and verify standards to/from factories/suppliers; issue approvals, comments and resubmits
• Review production swatches and verify matches approval
• Provide sew-by-samples, spec sheets, sewing instructions, care label details, packing instructions, screen and trim details, price ticket and hangtag details, and any other details as necessary.
• Organize and upload information daily to WIP report
• Create packing lists for all trim send outs for each purchase order
• Assists with sourcing and sampling
• Manage communication with vendors – sampling, color standards, costing, minimums, lead times, and QC issues. Advise manager of exceptions and best solutions
What you’ll need:
• 3 – 5 years experience in a similar position
• Excellent organization skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Fully proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook
• Capable of multitasking, being proactive, anticipating problems, facilitating problems, solving, escalating and addressing issues in a timely manner
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude and passion for the job
• Strong/efficient communication
Design Assistant
What you’ll do:
• Support team to meet deadlines to seasonal collections and product lines
• Be able to complete tech/design packs for the team
• Assist and receive sample shipments and check-in to system daily
• Maintain and organize samples
• Set up swatch and print packages
• Accurately take notes for designers in meetings
• Follow-up with suppliers and assist with administrative duties
• Create tech packs
• Take photos of samples and organize assets
• Color manipulations on prints with Photoshop
• Keep team organized
• Ship items local and international for team
What you’ll need:
• Self-starter and solution seeker
• Excellent organization skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Highly organized and efficient
• Fully proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Minimum one year experience in previous work or internship in related field
Domestic Production Coordinator
What you’ll do:
• Collaborate directly with our design department to submit new styles with a focus on quality and cost efficiency
• Ability to control the production tight schedule
• Must be able to multi-task
• Collaborate with our production, warehouse, and management teams to keep product lifecycle on track
• Analyze and verify standards to/from factories/suppliers
• Be flexible in order to maintain relationship with vendors/factories
What you’ll need:
• Minimum of 5 years experience
• Have experience with sewing/construction, prints and overall fabric management
• Excellent organization skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Fully proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook
• Capable of multitasking, being proactive, anticipating problems, facilitating problems, solving, escalating and addressing issues in a timely manner
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude and passion for the job
• Strong/efficient communication
