ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR, SMG OPERATIONS
JOB TYPE/CLASSIFICATION: Full time, Non-exempt
OFFICE LOCAITON: Long Beach, CA
The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Manager, SMG Operations in all aspects of administrative tasks associated with managing SMG, including planning, scheduling and preparation for numerous meetings, providing customer service as needed, and working with AMM departments to complete the assignment needs at hand.
Schedules and assists in the preparation of Client, Health Plan and internal meetings, which may include Board Meetings, Health Plan JOC’s, Credentialing Committee meetings, and other meetings as assigned.
Prepare agendas, reports, power point and other presentations, record meeting minutes, delineate action items and monitor follow-up in conjunction with the SMG Operations Manager and AMM Executives.
Organize meeting minutes, rosters, correspondence, and all other documentation related to the department.
Collaborate with other departments to maintain schedules and tasks as needed
Other duties as assigned within skillsets and abilities
Travel as needed
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Prior experience in a health plan, managed care organization, medical group physician office or IPA setting preferred
Customer service experience or equivalent experience preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
Bilingual (English and Korean) preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask and commit to deadlines
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
A team player with strong listening skills
Takes initiative and is proactive
Detail-oriented with strong problem solving skills
Good understanding of Physician Medical Group / IPA model
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
