Job Description(s):
• Ocean Import Manager – Full Time (Experienced)
Responsibilities for Ocean Import Manager
• Coordinates operations, sales, accounting, and customer service in accordance with corporate policies, principles, and procedures.
• Meets with customers and vendors to evaluate and promote improved and expanded customer service in all areas.
• Creates plans for the efficient use of materials, employees, and equipment as needed.
• Evaluates the operations of competing organizations and plans and directs a sales program to develop new markets in collaboration with the Director of Sales and Marketing.
• Oversees the preparation of accounting records. Budgets are recommended to management.
• Negotiate with vendors on rates when necessary
• Represent the company at business and customer functions as needed.
• Ensure effective team management and regulatory compliance.
Required Skills and Abilities:
• 3+ Years Operations Experience in Freight Forwarding Industry
• Batchelor's degree in business, logistics or equivalent combination of knowledge and teaching
• Understanding and practice in Microsoft Excel and database functions.
• Outgoing and forward-thinking mindset with the ability to decode problems in a timely manner
• Knowledge of state, federal, and international applicable laws and regulations as they relate to primary services provided (i.e., customs, security, other import and export government agencies)
Salary range: $65,000 - $90,000
Job Description(s):
• Import / Export Coordinator – Full Time (Entry or Experienced)
Responsibilities for Import / Export Coordinator
• Receive and reserve customer/agent orders and bookings
• Data Entry, Document processing, and shipment handling
• Tracking, tracing, and updating status of shipments as Daily Procedures
• Provide customer care services with on-time and real time tracking updates
• Customer satisfaction by understanding the operational procedures and to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Profits and Losses checked and reported, ensure all A/P and A/R are managed
• Identify, report, consult and find resolutions for any issues
• Monitor all cargo and provide reports to direct manager
Requirements for Import / Export Coordinator
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
• Bilingual, fluent in English and Korean highly preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge in working with MS Office programs
• 1 - 3 years Logistics experience preferred
Salary range: $50,000 – $58,000
