We have received information from the California Franchise Tax Board that you, a spouse, or a joint tax filer reported expenses or income from a business-related activity in 2020 and may be required to apply for a Business Tax Registration Certificate (BTRC). This means that you either.
Received a 1099 form (e.g. as an independent contractor) Were paid in cash for your work (e.g. as a laborer or freelancer)
◆ Filed Schedule C/C-EZ (for business income) or Schedule E (e.g. for rental income or royalties)
Our records indicate that you do not have a valid BTRC and may be out of compliance with L..A.M.C. Section 21.03 (Imposition of Tax). You must register with the City by reporting all business-related activity between 2016 and 2023 on the included application. If you have already registered or believe you are not subject to this requirement, complete and return the attached AB63 Alternative Form. Failure to respond to this notification within 20 business days may result in further enforcement action, including a tax assessment based on estimated receipts.
이런편지가 왔는데 저는 2020년 비즈니스 관련된 어떠한것도 하지 않았습니다, 편지엔 2020년이라 써있지만 혹시나, 2022년부터 파트타임으로 ubereats delivery를 시작했고 물론 1099 K form을 받고 여태 텍스보고를 해왔습니다. 이것이 이편지와 관련이 있는지를 모르겠습니다 저의텍스보고를 도와주시는 CPA께서는 Ab63 alternative 작성하라했지만 나중에 혹시나 벌금같은게 있을까봐 정확히 알고싶어서 변호사님께 여쭈어 봅니다
ubereats 도 독립계약자로써 인컴이 적더라도 저편지에 대한 답장으로 AB63 reference 를 작성해서 답변을 보내야할지,아니면 Ab63 alternative 를 보내도 될지 알려주시면 감사하겠습니다.
