변호사님 아래 내용은 우선 저는 grace period에 해당이 안되어서 f1을 더 유지해야 할 것 같습니다.
If they are not entitled to the 60 days of grace period, I should be enrolled 1 more semester. But I think that extended semester should be FULLY done.
(because If I terminate my F1 during semester, it affects my green card ).
However, When I start my work in 1st of October (when my H1 visa comes into affect) , officially I cannot attend my language school.
That means, I am a F1 student also H1 and I go to work not go to school even I have a F1 visa.
Can you get what I am talking about?
I extend f1 until 9/30. after 9/30 language school terminate f1 status. Is it okay?

J1 비자로 들어온 후 f1으로 신분변경 하였습니다.
이번에 h1b에 통과되어 10월1일 부터 시작 합니다.
현재 f1 status 입니다.
ESL 어학원을 다녔고 학기가 8월31일로 끝이나는데 9월 한달 동안 더 이상 f1 유지 하지 않아도 되나요?
제 변호사는 8월31일로 f1 status를 termination 시켜도 grace period 기간이라서 문제가 없다고 합니다.
저는 OPT 기간이 아니면 grace period에 적용 되지 않는 것으로 알고 있습니다.
어떤말이 맞는 것인가요?
그리고 만약 F1을 연장 한다면 다시 한 학기를 모두 끝낸 뒤 f1을 termination 시켜야 문제가 생기지 않는것 만나요?
제가 green card 진행 중인 상황이라 나중에 문제가 생기지 않고록 f1을 마무리 해야 합니다.
