j-1비자에서 f-1비자로 변경 신청 중입니다.
이 과정을 변호사분 없이 혼자 진행을 했었는데,
이민국 홈페이지에 가보니
"Case Was Received
On October 27, 2016, we received your Form I-539, Application to Extend or Change Nonimmigrant Status, Receipt Number ____________, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by November 26, 2016, please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address."
이 메세지만 두달 가까이 나오고 변경되지 않고 있네요.
pending 과정중인지 단순히 서류만 받았다는 건지 알 수가 없어서 문의드립니다.
1. 저는 지금 pending과정에 있는건가요? 아니면 추후 다른 조치가 더 필요한 상태인가요?
2. f-1비자로 변경된 후, 소셜 넘버가 있어서 워킹 퍼밋을 신청할 수 있다면 신청하고 싶은데 가능할까요?
