Whoever has my commandments and keeps them is the one who loves me. And the one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and reveal myself to him.
Although the biblical principle of salvation depends on faith in Jesus Christ, those who do not strive for wholehearted faith—which involves keeping and practicing the truthful words of Jesus Christ—in order to enter the path of salvation that leads to true life, but instead rely solely on humanistic beliefs and theological theories that reinforce false convictions, will ultimately they will inevitably face the Lord’s condemnation of destruction: “Depart from me, you who practice lawlessness” (Matthew 7:23b). This is because life is found in Jesus Christ, who is the Word Himself; therefore, only by possessing perfect faith—which is accompanied by obedience to the Word given by the Lord, namely the commandments, statutes, and ordinances—can the essential requirement be established for us to enter into life through that Word of eternal life working within us.

The reason we must keep the Word given by Jesus Christ—the very reason He tells us to “abide in Me” and “abide in My Word”—is that life is found in the Word. Please refer to the table below. However, we must understand, recognize, and keep that very Word that gives us life; we must not simply keep it unconditionally just for the sake of keeping it, as physical Israel did.

Despite these requirements and calls for salvation, modern people—whose lifestyles and mindsets are shaped by a desire for universal acceptability—simply believe in a superficial, ordinary way. If they are swept away by falsehood, they will fail to meet the conditions set forth—namely, that few will be saved at the end of the age—because their faith is dead, devoid of action, and thus incapable of receiving salvation. Yet, no one takes this seriously; we have reached a state of spiritual ignorance and insensitivity.
According to the biblical principle of salvation, we must attain salvation with fear and trembling; therefore, the Bible states that while easy and comfortable ways of believing may seem like the broad path—the one chosen by many—they ultimately lead to destruction.
That is why the Lord also warns us in the Book of Revelation.
It is generally said and believed that the Judgment Seat of the Great White Throne is for judging unbelievers; but if it were merely for judging unbelievers, why would the Book of Life need to be present alongside the books recording their deeds?
The correct interpretation of this passage is that the Book of Life is present because, among those who believed, those whose names have been recorded in the Book of Life since the creation of the world will be judged to life, while those whose names are not will be condemned to the second death—that is, the lake of fire. The reason the Book of Life is singular compared to the other books is that the number of those who will be saved will be correspondingly small, Since the names of countless believers are not recorded in the Book of Life, they will be judged according to what is written in the books of their deeds. Furthermore, since many believers today believe that the Judgment before the Great White Throne is intended solely for the unbelievers, the Lord is speaking these words in advance as a warning to remind them that He will also judge the believers.
(Revelation 20:12)
Then I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. The dead were judged according to their works, as recorded in the books.
This means that the very words spoken by Jesus Christ Himself serve as the standard of judgment (John 12:48).
Since you claimed to believe, He will judge you based on how you actually believed.
As stated in (Matthew 7:21), the will of God the Father is to correctly understand His Word and to keep and obey it.
When He says, “You who practice lawlessness!,” He is pointing out that the Word—which must be strictly obeyed—has already been given.
Salvation does not come from faith alone, and one cannot be saved by faith alone.
Because such faith is dead—lacking the deeds that accompany faith, that is, the perfect conduct required by Jesus Christ—
the Lord does not accept it and casts it aside.
Only by correctly understanding, keeping, and following the commandments and statutes that Jesus Christ Himself has given us—and by walking in accordance with His Word—will the outcome be salvation.
This is because Jesus Christ said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6).

Because you do not realize how terrifying it is to be cast out by the Lord, you believe as you please.

by understanding, knowing, and keeping the Lord’s Word (by truly loving the Lord),
