오우너가 한국인같아서 한국말로도 리뷰올려요.
제가 뜯긴돈은 그렇다 치지만, 다른 어리고 경험 적은 프리랜스 디자이너분들이 또 당할까봐 우려되어 글 남깁니다.
컨셉디자인을 했는데, 그 컨셉이 자기 마음에 들지 않으니, 일은 했지만 그거에 대한 페이를 못해주겠다네요.
저 미국에서, 미국 미대나오고 프리렌스하면서 이런 경우 처음입니다.
답답한 마음에 제가 학교 선생님께도 연락드려서 여쭈어보고, 전 회사 HR한테도 연락해 자문을 구했어요
디자이너가 일한 시간값을 당연히 페이해줘야하는게 법이라고 하는데,
처음에 프리랜서쪽에서 제시하는 계약서에 회사측 싸인을 안받고 일을 시작하는 경우 저렇게 뜯기는 경우가 있다고하네요.
어린 디자이너분들, 또 이제 갓 졸업하신분들, 경험 적은 프리렌서분들,
Jam'n Products Inc.랑 일 할 기회가 오면, 그냥 똥무시하세요 저처럼 당하지 마시고.

제가 성급했네요.
저같은 불상사를 막으시려면 자체로 법적효력있는 계약서를 준비하셔서 걔네한테 싸인하라고 하시고 난 뒤 연필 손에 쥐세요.
Attention Freelance Toy/ Industrial Designers: AVOID Working with Jam'n Products Inc.
They don't want to pay you the quote amount that the both parties agreed up on after you turn in your work. If you happen to work with them you should have a legal contract to make them sign before you even pick your pencil up for your own protection.
A current creative director at Jam'n Products Inc. wanted a concept art work. So, I did turn in all my work with one time revision as i promised on the quote, the quote that was already approved by the company.
But, he kept asking for more revisions, so i said i am charging more for further revisions.
He did not wanna talk in Written form but a phone call. So I talked on the phone with him and he kept trying to say that i should do more revisions because other freelancers will, and also the art work that's done with his bad direction does not count.
He didn't want to admit that it was his fault not answering my questions that were specifically related to the project. And he tried to manipulate me, so that he can hear me saying that it is my fault when it is not. I was very offended by him trying so hard to blame on me for something that he clearly did wrong.
I called him out on this by pulling all the emails out, and he hung up on me saying that he's gonna discuss it with his boss. Soon, he texted me right after that he's boss's out of town.
Now, he does not wanna pay me the full price(or i dont even know if they'll ever gonna pay what they owe me) that we agreed but only the half of what we agreed. And this creative director starts to humiliate me by giving me his ridiculous reason: He said, "Well, anyway we did not like your concept work, so we don't wanna pay for that although you gave us your work."
No PAYMENT has been processed, yet.
I have never had a client like this ever until now.
You, recent graduates &/ newbie freelancers, should be aware of this shady company and the director. If you do work with them, YOU SHOULD PREPARE LEGAL DOCs to make them sign for your own protection.
