# 도둑질하다 잡히면 경범 중범 차이
도둑질에는 두가지로 나누어지는데
좀도둑 petty theft $400 이하 와
중절도죄 $400 이상 grand theft 로 나누어진다
좀도둑은 경범 misdemeanor 가되고
중범은 felony charge , 1년 이상 된다.
부모들이 알아야하는건
청소년들이 장난삼아 훔쳐도 2-3번째는
Three Strikes Law 삼진 아웃 법 이 적용된다
3번째 걸리면 5달러짜리를 훔쳐도
징역 25년이다.
도둑에 대해서는 아주 가혹하다.
그러나 은행이나 융자회사가
수백만달러 손님들을 속이고 사기를쳐도
그들은 벌금만 낼뿐 잡아가지 않는다.
작은죄는 엄하고
큰 죄에는 관대하다.
왜냐하면
법은 국민을위해, 국민에의해, 국민을위해 만든게 아니라
정치인과 거부들이 자기들 위주로 만든다.
물론 모두 그런건 아니다.

무전유죄 無錢有罪 ;

What is grand theft? 중절도
According to California Penal Code §487, grand theft is a misdemeanor or felony charge that involves a person stealing money or items worth more than $400.

중범 처벌은?
What is the punishment for grand theft?
Conviction for grand theft can result in county jail time, up to 16 months in state prison, probation, parole, restitution[1. (분실물, 절도 물품의) 반환 (=restoration) 2. 법률 배상, 보상], counseling, up to $10,000 in fines, and community service.
If the theft involves a firearm, the punishment can include up to three years of prison time, as per California Penal Code §489.
