Job Title: Sr. Attorney
Location: Pasadena, CA
Fortune 100 telecommunications company seeks motivated, self-reliant, experienced employment litigator to fill an opening in its Legal Department in Los Angeles, California. The attorney will be responsible for defending single and multi-plaintiff employment-related lawsuits and arbitrations as well as providing daily advice and counsel on employment law compliance, employee discipline, and labor contract compliance. A minimum of 5 years of employment litigation and advice and counsel experience, excellent academic credentials, and valid California bar membership are required. Qualified candidates must also possess: excellent oral and written communication skills, strong analytical, interpersonal and negotiation skills, the ability to analyze legal issues and provide practical business solutions, good computer and organizational skills, the ability to adapt and innovate, the ability to travel, the ability to work effectively with all levels of management, and the capability to work both independently and collaboratively. Must be willing to relocate. Interested candidates must provide: a resume, writing sample, references, copy of law school transcripts verifying degree, grades and class rank, and proof of good standing in the California bar.
