Job Description:
Wells Fargo Capital Finance (WFCF) offers traditional asset-based financing, specialized senior secured financing, accounts receivable financing, purchase order financing, and supply chain financing to a wide range of companies throughout the U.S., Canada, and UK.
The Relationship Manager (RM) is responsible for managing a portfolio of Asset Based Loans. In the role, the RM will monitor the credit quality of assigned loans, foster client communication,and retention through management and financial sponsor relationship building, maximize account profitability and cross-sell opportunities of other Wells Fargo Bank products, ensure compliance with the loan documents, and lead strategic initiatives. The RM will perform financial analysis, collateral analysis, sensitivity analysis and enterprise valuations. Other responsibilities include presenting account performance to senior management at least monthly, facilitating preparation of monthly client trends, credit modification requests, and other memorandum necessary to communicate or respond to client activity to management.
The RM will have an opportunity to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external constituents including the WFCF originations, capital markets, and credit teams, senior and junior bank group participants, private equity sponsors, and client management. The RM is expected to independently complete restructures and refinancing (including the written memorandum and verbal presentation to senior management) of credit facilities utilizing the support of the loan portfolio manager, and the RM will also work in a team-based environment with where they can train, coach, and develop portfolio and collateral analysts and associates.
Finally, the RM must ensure compliance with all WFCF and Wells Fargo Bank policies and procedures and achieve satisfactory results on all internal and external audits.
Basic Qualifications:
4+ years account relationship or credit management experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
Demonstrated working knowledge of middle market corporate finance.
Additional Minimum Quals:
• Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills,
and a demonstrated ability to be an effective team player while taking initiative.
• Sound knowledge of ABL structuring and administration; collateral, financial and
cash flow analysis, and loan workouts.
• Experience managing complex and large middle market portfolios and clients.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of and experience in syndicated loan markets.
