  JCO는 로스앤젤레스 시의 주거용  유닛 중에서 시 RSO 에 의해 규제되지 않는 대부분의 부동산에도  적용된다고 언급되어 있습니다.
  The JCO covers most residential properties in the City of Los Angeles that are not regulated by the City’s Rent Stabilization Ordinance (RSO).
  
  30일 이상 집을 비워주어야 하는 공사는  Substantial Remodel 에 해당되므로  JCO 에 따라서  테넌트에게  JCO 규정에 적힌 대로의 이사 비용을 주면  테넌트를 내보낼 수 있습니다. 
  
  Substantial Remodel as Defined in CA Civil Code 1946.2: Must serve a copy of the permits with written termination notice stating the reason for termination, type & scope of work, why the work cannot reasonably be accomplished in a safe manner with the tenant in place, and why the work requires the tenant to vacate for at least 30 days.
