Position: Logistics Associate – OTR(Over the Road) Dept
Location: Gardena, CA
Job Type: Full-time
Hourly Pay : $21~
Compensation: Regular PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance, Sick leave 40h
Job Summary:
The Logistics Associate is responsible for booking OTR freight and coordinating driver assignments to ensure timely delivery and compliance with DOT regulations. This role supervises the team of drivers, manages their daily assignments, and ensures adherence to company policies and safety procedures.
Responsibilities:
● Promote safety first for all dispatch areas, ensuring drivers follow safety policies and procedures.
● Supervise OTR drivers.
● Book freight and assign drivers/vehicles for cargo conveyance throughout the U.S.
● Review deliveries and pick-ups for the upcoming days.
● Notify drivers of their daily assignments.
● Track driver compliance with company procedures.
● Coordinate tractor/trailer maintenance cycles.
● Ensure drivers collect all necessary documentation and signatures for delivery/pick-up.
● Answer customer questions about delivery/pick-up.
● Maintain daily log and preventive maintenance files, recording information in appropriate systems.
● Complete, record, and file all necessary paperwork (daily/weekly/monthly).
● Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
● Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics, trucking, or a related field.
● Knowledge of DOT regulations preferred.
● Proficient in computer and smartphone use.
● Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel).
● English/Korean proficiency preferred.
● Experience with GPS and tracking software.
